Field Meeting Took Place in Issyk-Kul in Preparation for the World Nomad Games
From July 22nd through 23rd a field meeting took place in preparation for the World Nomad Games 2016, in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul Oblast.
The Director of the State Agency of Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports Kanat Amankulov, secretary of the State Agency Nurjan Bardinova, Deputy Director of the department Ruslanbek Jumanazarov, director of the Secretariat of the World Nomad Games Nurdin Sultambaev and Director of the Directorate of National Sports Almazbek Kasenov were at the meeting, along with all members of the organizational committee of the sporting program of WNG.
“All responsibility for the execution of the sporting program is taken by the State Agency. Today we determined the entire organizational committee for the sporting program. I’m asking everyone to treat their assigned duties with great respect, and to comply with all instructions and requirements,” said Amankulov. He also added that the Games must be executed on a very high organizational level.
Questions about the timely and quality organization of the World Nomad Games were also discussed during the meeting. Different technical questions related to accommodating sporting delegations and carrying out competitions in 23 different kinds of sports were also discussed.
The participants of the meeting also familiarized themselves with the construction of the Hippodrome and the sport and wellness center in the village of Baktuu-Dolonoty in the Issyk-Kul Region of Issyk-Kul Oblast.
Participants also visited the place where the sporting program will take place: Kyrchyn Gorge.
As a result of the meeting, the organizational committee initiated a detailed plan for preparing for the Games.
The leadership of the organizational committee in charge of organizing and executing the World Nomad Games 2016 is:
- Nurjan Arzykulovna Bardinova – Chairman of the organizational committee (general oversight of the WNG, structural control of the sports program);
- Ruslanbek Satymkulovich Jumanazarov – responsible for the sporting program
- Bakyt Joldoshbekovich Egemberdiev – responsible for organizational questions;
- Almazbek Apyshovich Kasenov – deputy chairman of the organizational committee.
Headquarters for sporting events, hotels, work with volunteers, and logistics were also formed, and people for meeting sporting delegations at airports and borders were also picked.
A reminder that the Second World Nomad Games will take place from September 3rd through 8th, 2016, in Issyk-Kul Oblast.
