The presentation of the World Nomad Games was held in Urumqi

According to the Press Service of the Ministry, on June 23 the Visa Point of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan in Urumqi, Xinjiang UAR, PRC held a presentation about the Second World Nomad Games.

Talant Sultanov, the Head of Visa Point of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan in Urumqi during his speech he have noted that the initiative of holding the Nomad Games belongs to Almazbek Atambayev, the President of Kyrgyzstan, who was supported by the heads of foreign countries. “This unique project of new format will show the world the greatness of the nomadic civilization, culture and way of life of each nomadic world.

It is deeply symbolic that the decision to hold the Second World Nomad Games in 2016 adopted by the leadership of Kyrgyzstan will help to revive nomadic kinds of  sport in their original form and raise them to a higher international level” – he [Talant Sultanov] said.

During the event the materials about the tourism and investment potential of Kyrgyzstan were demonstrated to the invited guests.

The event was attended by leaders of Physical Culture and Sports Department of Xinjiang UAR, PRC, the Office of Tourism of Kyzyl-Suu Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang, Passport and Visa Service of the MFA in Urumqi, Xinjiang UAR, and also representatives of tourism in Xinjiang companies.
