Winners of the II International Central Asian dance Olympics will be invited to the WNG


On June 3 2016 the II International Dance Olympics of Central Asia started at the Sports Complex "SUN City" in Bishkek. It was organized in the framework of preparation and holding the World Nomad Games 2016.

Winners of individual kinds of dances will be invited to participate in the concert program of the upcoming World Nomad Games 2016. A the event the  welcoming speech was made by the Deputy Head of the Secretariat WNG -  Esentur Jamalov, representative of the World Ethnosport Confederation - Meder Tilekmatov, Presidents of the Kyrgyz Federation of Sport Contemporary Art and modern - Tatiana Kuznetsova and Federation of modern pop dance of the Kyrgyz Republic - Oksana Polianichko.

Dance - is not only pleasant pastime, useful form of entertainment, education of the body; dance competitions – is also a decent way of self-affirmation, the incentive for self-improvement, and it is the education of such traits in the younger generation, as the will to win and the responsibility for the team. «Dance creates a sense of taste and style, makes people more sensitive to the beautiful, more confident, which is especially important as determining factor in the life of teenagers," - noted E.Dzhamalov in his welcoming speech.

On the first day, the Olympics gathered at one site more than 100 participants of all ages. In the first part the dancers competed in the direction of: dances of the nations of the world, lezginka, Kyrgyz dance; 600 dancers took part in it. In the second part 750 participants acted in the direction of pop dancing. As a result of performances 9 winners were invited to participate in the concert program of WNG 2016. Olympics continue to the Third Division: show based on ballroom choreography and social dance, where 200 people are involved.

The event will take place within 3 days with the participation of more than 2000 dancers from 10 countries on 52 dance styles and disciplines.

11 international judges and 18 certified judges from Kyrgyzstan will assess the quality of the presentations: Bishkek, Tokmok, Karakol, Cholpon-Ata, Balykchy, Kara-Balta, Jalal-Abad and the city Osh.

Championship of Central Asia on the Kyrgyz, folk, pop, east, social and modern dances, as well as Bollywood and cheerleading, festivals on majorettes and pair dances are scheduled within the framework of the Olympic Games.

The organizers of the II International Dance Olympics of Central Asia are the Secretariat of the World Nomad Games 2016, the World Ethnosport Confederation, Kyrgyz Federation of Sport Art Contemporary and modern, Federation of modern pop dance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
