Collectable Coins Released for the World Nomad Games Sell Out in One Day

Silver collectible coins dedicated to the World Nomad Games were released August 15th and sold out in only one day.

As reported by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, this is an unprecedented event for the Bank. Sales of the collectable coins finished in a record amount of time – in less than 24 hours, the cashier at the National Bank had sold all of the coins on hand.

The extra interest for these collectible coins among society at large and those who appreciate fine art, not just coin collectors, can be explained by a variety of reasons.

First of all, the release of the coins coincided with an upcoming grand event in the Kyrgyz Republic – the World Nomad Games. Secondly, the coins were released in limited supply – only 1000 were made. Additionally, the coins had a unique design, including their square shape, made possible by new technology.
