Kyrgyz athletes won 11 medals in mas-wrestling

Today, September 4, on the basis of the final games on mas-wrestling, names of athletes who won the medals became known. 12 sets of medals were played among men and women in different weight categories. The competition was attended by 122 athletes from 26 countries.

In the weight category of 60 kg Kyrgyz Bekjan Omuraliev won a gold medal. The second place was taken by the sportsman from Azerbaijan Rasul Safarov. Third places were shared by Islom Abdumalikov (Uzbekistan) and Medet Esbulayev (Kazakhstan).

In the struggle for gold medal in the weight category of 70 kg Kyrgyz sportsman Kudainazar Alimov lost to athlete from Russia Alexander Rakhleyev. Bronze medals were shared by sportsmen Shamet Temirlan (Kazakhstan) and Alexey Kushnir (Ukraine).

In the weight category 80 kg for the first place fought Kyrgyz athlete Askat Junushev and Russian Semyon Atakov, who was able to defeat his rival. The bronze medals were won by athletes Sejedi Aliakbar (Iran) and Sultan Agayev (Azerbaijan).

In the weight category of 90 kg in the final fight the gold medal was won by Kyrgyz athlete Azat Tashtanbekov. His rival from Russia Danil Moiseyev became a silver medalist. Third places were shared by athletes Abrar Bagherpur Ali (Iran) and Ilioz Kodirov (Uzbekistan).

In the weight category up to 105 kg Kyrgyz athlete Ataybek uulu Keldibek was stronger than all his rivals. The second place was taken by the Russian sportsman Denis Sleptsov. The third places were won by athletes Tmas Deli (Hungary) and Starkov Vyacheslav (Kazakhstan).

In the weight category up to 125 kg in the final Russian athletes fought. The gold medal was won by Dmitry Popov, the owner of silver was Anton Dementiev. Third places were shared by athletes Nasimjon Rajabov (Uzbekistan) and Alexander Krasnov (Kazakhstan).

In the absolute weight category over 125 kg in the final Kyrgyz sportsman Rustam Jalilov and Russian Andrei Markin fought. The gold medal was won by the Russian athlete. The bronze medalists were the athletes Reza Geytasi (Iran) and Alatansuh (China).

Competitions among women were held in five weight categories.

In the weight category of 55 kg among women, the sportswoman from Russia Sardana Osipova became the winner. In the finals she beat the rival from Uzbekistan Regina Mulyasheva. Kyrgyz athlete Elza Abdykadyrova and Russian Lyudmila Kazakova became bronze medalists.

In the weight category of 65 kg in the final Kyrgyz Kymbat Nurjanova and athlete from Russia Alina Turchina fought. The winner of the bout was Alina Turchina. The bronze medals were won by female athletes Anna Vaganova (Russia) and Fanny Rebecca Varga (Hungary).

In the 75 kg weight category Russian athlete Saina Sedalisheva won the first place. The second place was won by the athlete from Azerbaijan Nargiza Ibragimova. Third places were shared by athletes Madina Elieva (Uzbekistan) and Lyubov Maleyeva (Kyrgyzstan)

In the weight category 85 kg the gold medal was won by an athlete from Ukraine Irina Zaslavskaya. The silver medalist was Kazakhstan sportswoman Darya Nesterova. Bronze medals were won by Sandra Benagshi (Hungary) and Nazia Mailybasheva (Kyrgyzstan).

In the absolute weight category over 85 kg Russian Svetlana Tikhonova defeated her opponent from the USA Hull Lindsay. Third places went to the  athletes Dildora Rahmonova (Kyrgyzstan) and Ashury Hiniya (Iran).

The total prize fund for mas-wrestling is 770 thousand soms. Holders of gold medals will receive 50 thousand soms each, silver prize winners - 30 thousand soms and bronze medalists - 15 thousand soms.
