The European Championships in wrestling "Alysh" took place In Serbia

In Zrenjanin (Serbia), from May 30 to June 1, 2018, the European Championships in wrestling "Alysh" was held. It was held for the tenth time.
More than 150 athletes from 16 European countries took part in the European Championships: Bulgaria, Slovakia, Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Ukraine, Georgia, Latvia, Poland, Israel, Serbia, Armenia, Estonia, Moldova, Germany, Netherlands. In the team medal event Bulgaria, Slovakia and Russia took first, second and third places respectively.
All participating countries were invited to participate in the III World Nomadic Games, which will be held in Cholpon-Ata from September 2 to 8, 2018.
The European Championships was held in order to popularize and promote the struggle on the belts "Alysh" in the European arena.
