The President Almazbek Atambayev invited the participants of the SCO summit to the WNG

Almazbek Atambayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic invited participants of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit to the Second World Nomad Games. He announced this on June 24 at the meeting of the Council of Heads of the SCO member States in expanded format.

According to the President tourism development must be one of the core issues of the SCO. “Taking this opportunity, I would like to invite participants of the summit to the Second World Nomad Games that will be held in September this year” – said the President.

The World Nomad Games will be held on 3-8 September 2016 in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region. Within the Games the sports competitions on 23 kinds of ethnosport will be held. 2000 participants from 40 countries of the world are expected to attend the Games.
