Japanese TV Company NHK Invited to Cover the Upcoming World Nomad Games
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that the ambassador to Japan from the Kyrgyz Republic, Chingiz Aidarbekov, met with the president of the Japanese public broadcasting organization NHK, Katsuto Momii. The two parties discussed the direction of cooperation with NHK, the leading broadcasting organization in Japan. Ambassador Aidarbekov reported about achievements of the Kyrgyz Republic in building democracy and completing reforms, carried out by the government. He noted the high quality of Kyrgyz-Japanese relations, achieved as a result of the mutual visits carried out by the heads of the two countries in the past few years. As part of the celebration of 25 years of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, the Ambassador asked Momii to assist in publicizing this event and Kyrgyz-Japanese relations in general. Speaking about the preservation of cultural diversity, the Ambassador noted again that the World Nomad Games will be held in Kyrgyzstan this year. Emphasizing the special nature of these games, Ambassador Aidarbekov requested NHK to take part in publicizing this large-scale cultural and historical event. In turn, the president of NHK, Katsuto Momii, having expressed gratitude for the detailed information about the development of Kyrgyzstan, congratulated Ambassador Aidarbekov on the beginning of work in Japan. He expressed his readiness to support recent initiatives for strengthening relations between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, and emphasized that the question regarding sending representatives with a film crew to the World Nomad Games will be considered soon.
