Media Accreditation Extended to August 15
The accreditation campaign for local and foreign media representatives will be extended. Media representatives will need to receive accreditation in order to cover the World Nomad Games, which will be held from Septemer 3rd through 8th, 2016, on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul.
At the request of many media representatives, the deadline for accreditation was extended to August 15th.
As of today, the Secretariat of the World Nomad Games and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic have received 143 applications from foreign media representatives in 25 countries and 137 applications from local media.
Media representatives from Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Canada, China, Estonia, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, USA, and others are planning to participate.
The accreditation campaign for foreign media outlets is being run by the MFA of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Secretariat of the WNG is running the campaign for local media. Conditions for accreditation can be found on the WNG 2016 and MFA websites.
A reminder that the accreditation campaign started July 15th for media representatives who want to cover the World Nomad Games, and is currently being organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and the Secretariat of the World Nomad Games. Accreditation will continue through August 15th.
