III WNG: The national team of Kyrgyzstan won 9 medals in fight alysh
On the 3rd of September within the 3rd World Nomad Games in the sports center of the Baktoo Dolonotu village the tournament on the traditional alysh wrestling took place. The best alysh wrestlers came not only to fight for medals of the World Nomad Games, but also for the title of the World Champion.
In this kind of wrestling 145 sportsmen from 35 countries struggled for awards. The national team of Kyrgyzstan is represented in all twelve weight categories among women and men.
As a result, among the men, the Kyrgyz wrestlers won 4 medals: 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze ones. The gold medal was awarded to Esenbek Kudaiberdiev in the weight category up to 80 kilograms.
However, the bouts of domestic female athletes did not concede in their spectacularity and effectiveness: a piggy bank of the national team of Kyrgyzstan was replenished with four more medals. Among them there are 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze ones. The champion was Bakhtiyar kyzy Nurzat. She was fighting in the weight category up to 65 kilograms.
