Kyrgyzstan offers to include the text about the World Nomad Games in UN Resolution
Kyrgyzstan wants to propose to include World Nomad Games in UN Resolution. About this the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov has informed today on June 7 during the meeting of heads of governments of the CIS countries in an expanded format.
He reminded his foreign colleagues that the 2016 was declared as the Year of the history and culture, during which different events will take place in the country.
According to Jeenbekov, the upcoming World Nomad Games that will be held in September at the Issyk-Kul can be used as a platform for active intercultural and interethnic dialogue of countries. He asked foreign colleagues to support the proposal of Kyrgyzstan to include the WNG in the UN Resolution.
“Kyrgyzstan plans to propose the text about the World Nomad Games for inclusion in Resolution on “Promotion of interreligious and intercultural dialogue, understanding and cooperation for peace” at the 71 Session of the UN General Assembly. We are grateful for the support of this very initiative on the part of our friends from the CIS”, - said the Prime Minister.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov invited his foreign colleagues to take part in the Opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games.
