The Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic met with the Minister of Culture and Sport of Qatar

In Doha, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Qatar, Nuran Niyazaliyev, met with the Minister of Culture and Sport of Qatar, Mr. Salah bin Ghanim Al-Ali.

During the meeting, Ambassador Nuran Niyazaliev informed the interlocutor about the history, mission and goals of the forthcoming Third World Nomad Games, highlighting the role and significance of this large-scale event in the revival and preservation of the culture of nomadic civilization. Drawing attention to the commonality of the nomadic way of life of Kyrgyz and Qatar people in the past, he invited the Qatari side to take part in some types of ethnosport as well as the cultural program in the framework of the international ethnocultural festival "The Universe of nomads" by installing an Arab tent and demonstrating the culture, traditions and national games of Qatarians . For his part, Minister Salah bin Ganim Al-Ali, noting his personal presence at the opening of previous games of nomads, confirmed the participation of the State of Qatar in the Third World Nomad Games. He said that the responsable structures of the ministry are given instructions for preparing for the forthcoming event, including consideration of the possibility of participation in certain types of ethno-competition and cultural program.
